Google Ads
The Google Ads Module connects UserSearch to Google’s advertising transparency data, letting you look up the ad creatives an advertiser has run across Google’s platforms. It is a passive, OSINT-friendly data source: you query publicly disclosed advertising records without alerting the advertiser.
What it is
Section titled “What it is”Google publishes advertising records through its Ads Transparency Center at adstransparency.google.com. This surface exposes the ads that verified advertisers have shown across Google Search, YouTube, Display, and other Google properties. The Google Ads Module in UserSearch queries this data source so you can review an advertiser’s or product’s creative footprint from within your search.
What data it returns
Section titled “What data it returns”What is solid:
- UserSearch integrates Google’s Ads Transparency data as the Google Ads Module.
- The Module returns advertising creative data tied to an advertiser or product.
- It is a passive data source — querying it does not notify the advertiser.
Which search types and Modules use it
Section titled “Which search types and Modules use it”The Google Ads Module powers the Product search type. Run a Product search to include Google Ads creative data alongside the other Modules in that search type. Where a Product search is run through OneScan, the Google Ads Module can contribute results as part of that combined run.
How to access it in UserSearch
Section titled “How to access it in UserSearch”- Open a Product search.
- Enter the advertiser, brand, or product you want to look up.
- Review the Google Ads Module results in the search output, or run the search through OneScan to query it alongside the other Product Modules.
